Salida en randoneé el fin de semana del 15 y 16 de Julio. La gente de Valle Nevado se paleteó subiéndonos en el andarivel hasta la cumbre de Tres Puntas. Ahí nos salimos del centro de esquí y nos dirigimos por el camino hacia Piedra Numerada.
En el lugar donde empieza la bajada nos tiramos directo hacia el fondo del valle, en vez de seguir el camino habitual. Dejamos los sacos y equipo de vivac junto a una roca y comenzamos el ascenso por una pendiente bastante empinada.

Luego de varios zig zags llegamos al inicio del "Valle del Silencio", tal como lo bautizó Alberto.
Finalmente llegó el momento de sacarse las tablas y seguir de peatón hasta asomarse al filo cumbrero, donde nos dimos cuenta que faltaba al menos una hora y el sol ya estaba desapareciendo, así que ¡para abajo!. Terminamos esquiando de noche hacia el vivac donde hicimos una cueva en la nieve. Al día siguiente despertamos en medio de una suave nevada y cero visibilidad. Gracias al GPS y la brújula dimos con el camino de regreso.
